"Green" Baby Shower
Do you recycle your plastics, paper, and cans?
If so, you are doing a great job helping Mother Earth and working to
make the world a better place for all of us. There are several ways
that you can make your baby shower environmentally friendly and
allow your guest to share in the fun! Here are some easy ways that
you can make your shower "greener":
1. Serve organic foods at your
shower. A great way to keep your costs low is
stick with in-season fruits and vegetables, which are usually a
great bargain. Buy foods that are grown without using pesticides and
meats that are not fed hormones. Remember that the most important
thing is to serve foods that the mom-to-be and your guests will
enjoy. Not only will the food be healthier, it'll be
conscience-friendly as well.
2. Recycle any paper, bottles, or
cans that are used at the baby
3. Recycle any
decorations that are used at the shower. Everyone knows
a friend that is expecting and could use the decorations at her baby
4. Choose party favors that are
eco-friendly. A nice way to do this
is with seed favors that are personalized for the baby shower guest
will be able to plant the seeds after the shower and help to make
the world a more beautiful place!
Have fun with your planning and remember
the Four R's:
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Renew.
