Bridal Shower Calendar and
Checklist This is an overview of what you should do at
each step of the bridal shower planning process:
Three months before the shower:
___Decide on the date ___Check the date with the entire
bridal party ___Meet with the bride and groom to decide on the
guest list ___Decide the location of the shower ___Choose
the theme or style of the shower ___Purchase invitations (link
to abcfavors) ___Decide on the food to be served at
the shower (it does not need to be fancy or expensive)
Two month before the shower.
___Decide on favors, supplies, tableware, and games from abc favors
___Set the schedule of events for the day of the shower
___Decide which games you will be playing at the shower
___Figure out the amount of gifts and/or door prizes you will
need ___Choose your gift for the bride ___Mail out
invitations-include a RSVP ___Finalize the menu for the
party One Month before the
shower.
___Finalize decorations and games ___Select table
centerpieces, cups, plates, and napkins ___Purchase favors for
guests ___Set up a RSVP list ___Set seating

Two Weeks Before the shower.
If at a home the party is at someone’s home, check that you have
the proper serving dishes, utensils, and seats
Confirm
reservations if the bridal shower is being held at a restaurant
If it is being catered, contact the caterers
If friends
are bringing food, contact them Order corsages for the bride,
bridal party, and the mother and grandmothers
Day
Before the shower.
___Purchase, pick up, or make the rest of the food needed
___Check your home for last minute cleaning ___Set up extra
chairs for guests ___Check to be sure you have enough ice,
toilet paper, garbage bags, etc... ___Set a spot to display the
bride's gifts ___Provide a pad and pen for list of
gifts and who gave them ___Empty coat closets so you will have a
clean space to hang coats
The Day Of...
___Plan to arrive 45 minutes ahead of your guests ___Have
help for the last minute details ___Have refreshments available
___Hand out the corsages the bridal party and the mother of the
bride and mother of the groom ___As each guest arrives, make
sure she knows someone or introduce her to others ___The bridal
party should be at the door greeting guests ___Relax, have fun,
and enjoy your party!
